I'm going back in time here, but I can't help it. This series of pictures is from when Ax was about a month old. It perfectly captured how he looked at me ALL. THE. TIME.

Can I start potty training at 6 months?
Big news- we have started Axton on solid foods. It was such an exciting day- I practically beamed in the grocery store picking up my first $1.50 box of rice cereal. I was so thrilled to mix up a runny bowl for the first time and set up the video camera for our start to the process of learning how to feed & eat from a spoon. Now, a few weeks later, we are at about 2 tablespoons of cereal and 1 tablespoon of squash, all mixed up with breastmilk. I've tasted it- it's not so bad really. Now enter the adage "what goes in must come out." I am seriously questioning physics. How is it that the sweet concoction going in comes out so horrid, inducing my gag reflex? And I'm not exactly sure how only 3 tablespoons going in equals, um, a LOT more than 3 tablespoons coming out. And to top it all off, I was chatting with the daycare ladies and relaying my experience. Their response? "Oh honey you haven't seen anything yet."
Surely we can start on potty training, so as to avoid this doomed future of mine. Right? I'm not so sure I can handle yearS of worse conditions. Axton might not be able to use sign language to say "milk" and "eat" quite yet, let alone um, crawl, but I'm positive I can teach him some sort of sign that he has to go #2, right? Maybe? Hopefully?
