6 months. I think I need a new house.

So we put an offer in on a(nother) (different) house.  This is me taking pictures of the new digs, belly and all.  I think it's a good idea to move when you're 7 months pregnant.  Don't you?

Favorite quotes & story from the wedding

I kept my iPhone handy during the wedding weekend and tried to capture a few quotes I heard over the course of the weekend, and I am also recounting my favorite story I heard.

Quotes:
"Boys are yucky" ~ Mrs. Mozer
Noah in response when I was giggling about it to him afterwards: "I would be offended but I'm a man."
"It looks like purple threw up on you." ~Noah
"Even the SUGAR is purple?!?!?" ~ Noah
"Is that a pager?!?" ~ Melanie, referring to Liz's cell phone
"The word of the weekend is 'incidentals'" ~ Bub

Story:
Our guests Linda and JJ recounted a super-cool jazz breakfast they experienced to us sometime after the wedding. They were enjoying breakfast at a restaurant with the windows and doors open and fun jazz playing, which is common in NOLA. All of a sudden they heard music coming from outside, in tune to the jazz that was playing inside. A passerby with instrument in hand began playing to the tune of the jazz band inside the restaurant, and they continued to play against each other through the end of the song. After the multi-dimensional show, the band commented, "that's our good friend Wolf!" I LOVED hearing that story, and I'm even jealous!! I can't think of another place where something like that would happen...

Honeymoon in Cabo San Lucas

My favorite honeymoon pictures:

During our dinner cruise (aka booze cruise)-
On our way to go ATV riding with the rock formations in the waaaaay background- a self-portrait by Christopher-

Our ATVs with a cow skull and the ocean in the background-

With a focus on the flowers-

Such a FUN ride on the ATVs. We took a break by the ocean-

A GORGEOUS sunrise on our way out for a deep sea fishing trip-

This was the fish...
That later the same day turned into this-

And this-

And this.
There aren't many things that are better than sushi, sashimi and seared fish within hours of being caught.

My accidental coordination with the decor at Cabo Wabo-

6 days and 7 nights of paradise. I'm SO ready to go back...

Wedding planning

Having a destination wedding is not easy. In fact, it's pretty hard. However, the upside to having a wedding in New Orleans was that I "had" to go to the Big Easy for my planning. Oh, how horrible. Here are some pictures of me hard at work...

Hard at work indeed. I got that drink in my hand from a place where I completely missed a very pertinent sign:

So when we ordered our drinks, you can imagine my confusion when, after ordering daquiris, the bartender asked us what kind of shots we want. Riiiiggggghhhht... Alas, here was our bartender with goods to "fuel" our vigorous wedding planning:

Chris also joined in the hard work. We had to go to Biloxi, MS so that we could hear our wedding band play (it's just a 2 hour drive from Pensacola). Before we headed home we did some decompressing...hearing bands play is very stressful.

Finally, back in New Orleans yet again working up an appetite:
